From the inception of FRESH the vision of the student team was to create what they called a “Life Pantry.” The team sought to make the work of FRESH be more than just food distribution. FRESH focused on teaching life skills, such as cooking and finances management. FRESH also realized that it was not just food that students lacked--it was shoes, coats, books, personal hygiene supplies. FRESH made it part of their expanding vision to also supply these kinds of things to their fellow students.
