Several years ago, Chabot Passion & Purpose students organized an on-campus conference attended by many Chabot administrators. The goal of the conference was to start a conversation about the building of a Sustainability Center on campus. The conference indeed got the ball rolling on this ambitious dream. 

It bears repeating that it was students who took the lead on pushing this initiative. It is not every day that students insert their passions into matters as arcane as  building construction and program creation on a college campus. Indeed, the TEA team still gets emails from these students, asking “is it built yet?”
